Here’s our first look on the Samsung Galacy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ thanks to @onleaks who got the CAD renders of the smartphones. The phone has previously featured slightly curved sides, but the S24+ is expected to adopt a more boxy design, similar to the iPhone 14.

HUAWEI has recently unveiled the HUAWEI Watch GT 4. It’s a fusion between style and tech as the smartwatch features a long lasting battery which makes it ideal for traditional mechanical watch users, features a HarmonyOS and a lot sensors, and also a stylish design.

Design

The HUAWEI Watch GT 4 series features a design that can really captivate both genders as they got a 46mm watch face with a premium-looking design while the 41mm features an elegant round watch face design that fits perfectly for the fashionistas.

The 41mm comes in a roundwatch face and it comes in white leather watchband and silver metal band for the people who wants to have a stylish smartwatch while the black flourorubber strap are for the more active lifestyle.

While the 46mm comes in different octagonal design as this one has a tougher and meaner design that looks perfect on large wrists. It comes it comes with an octagonal design that makes it look like more in line with a lot of premium and expensive traditional watches and it comes in Black, Brown, Green, and Grey with different variety of straps ranging from fluororubber, leather, steel, and fabric.

Display

One of the essential features for these watch is the display. The 46mm comes with 1.43-inch display and a resolution of 466×466 while the 41mm comes with 1.32-inch display withe same resolution.

For the quality, it’s very decent even at outside use as the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 comes with a pretty bright display. It’s smooth as well which is a plus and the colors are really nice on this one unlike most affordable smartwatch in the market

It’s an always-on display so you can always check the time or the watchface even though you’re not using it. While the always-on display’s design will always rely on the watchface that you’re using for the smartwatch.

Features

The HUAWEI Watch GT 4 comes with a lot of features inside that every smartwatch users will definitely like. As expected, there are the features including health and fitness tracking just like most smartwatch in the market but this one can record from the more than 100 workout modes. The HUAWEI Watch GT 4 also comes with heart rate sensor, blood oxygen sensor, sleep tracking, and stress sensor so you’ll be updated with your health all the time.

But my personal favorite and one of its unique features is the Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis which can check potential A-fib and premature beat risks on your heart. Basically, it lets you know if there are abnormalities in your heart which can definitely save your life someday.

Other cool features that are included in here includes the skin temperature scanner which was really helpful before personally when I had COVID-19 and also the cycle calendar for women’s health.

For the software, there’s the different functions that you need including music playback control, expanded notifications and also answering calls directly on the watch. It’s pretty much everything that we can expect from a smartwatch but unlike the Watch number series, this one doesn’t have the HUAWEI AppGallery to download third party apps.

Battery

The best feature about the HUAWEI Watch GT Series is the battery and with the HUAWEI Watch GT 4, HUAWEI promises an up to 2 weeks of battery life on the 46mm and up to 1 week battery life on the 41mm. But of course, it will be a lot shorter if you use the always-on display on the smartwatch.

Overall, the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 gives you the flexibility in the design with its different design for the 46mm and 41mm. The design of the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 also makes it more attractive to traditional watch users as they look more like a traditional watch and they have a really long battery life.

It might not have all the features needed but the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 does come with a plenty of sensors which consumers would definitely love and the addition of the Pulse Wave Arrythmia sensor is also a nice feature to have on a smartwatch that is meant to keep us healthier.

Overall, I do love the balance of the traditional design of the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 and also the smartwatch features inside it. It’s a well-balanced smartwatch for those people who are just transitioning into a smartwatch from traditional mechanical watches.

We got our first look at the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra thanks to the renders made by @onleaks. It looks like the smartphone will pack an almost the same design as before including the same camera layout at the back of the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to sport a 6.8-inch display and it is expected to come with a WQHD+ resolution. It will have a flatter display and a thinner bezels. It will also support S-Pen as expected and it will still come with a slot for the S-Pen.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to come with a dimensions of 162.3 x 79 x 8.7mm and it will still have a 5000mAh battery inside.

Counter-Strike 2 is now available, a free upgrade from CS:GO

Valve has released the much-anticipated Counter-Strike 2, a few months after just announcing the game. It’s the successor to the highly successful Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and the game is enhanced with the Source 2 engine so you can expect better graphics and geometric designs in the game.

Some of the improvements done in the game includes on how Smoke Grenades work this time. It’s more dynamic, interactive and is now conditioned to engage naturally with its surroundings, adapting to lighting and even expanding organically to fill spaces.

Valve has segmented maps into three categories to offer a different experience. The “Touchstone” maps preserve the essence of timeless scenes, offering players a chance to observe core gameplay transitions from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to Counter-Strike 2. The second category, “Upgrade” maps, harnesses the prowess of Source 2 engine’s lighting, rendering materials and reflections with a heightened sense of realism. Lastly, the “Overhaul” maps have been meticulously redesigned from scratch, magnifying the full potential of the Source 2 engine.
