CHERRY opens its sixth concept store at SM City Rosario. This allows customers from the south to easily access a wide selection of smart products.

The new concept store at SM City Rosario offers CHERRY’s wide range of products. These include IoT devices, health essentials, pet devices, and home appliances. It also comes with the brand’s famous phones, tablets, and mobile accessories.

“We have been actively opening concept stores since the start of this year as this is our way of further establishing our presence in the market. At the same time, we would like to help generate jobs, especially amid the pandemic,” Michelle Ngu-Cinco, COO of CHERRY, said.

PLDT launches PH’s first 10,000Mbps fiber-optic service

PLDT Home has become the first-ever network provider to launch a super-fast 10,000Mbps fiber-optic service in the Philippines.

The new service enables the country to join the first-world nations, including South Korea, Japan, Sweden, Norway, Italy, New Zealand, and the USA in having access to ultra-fast home internet speed.

Meanwhile, PLDT Home announced that that the service will be available in Metro Manila this December. The company will expand its availability in other key cities, including Cebu and Davao, in 2022.

realme leads PH smartphone market for three consecutive quarters

realme continues to dominate the Philippine smartphone market, claiming the top spot for Q3 2021.

For three consecutive quarters, international research firms Canalys and IDC named realme as the biggest mobile vendor in the Philippines.

According to Canalys, realme ranked first for Q3 2021 with 26% of the local market share while also topping IDC’s latest report.

To express its gratitude to its loyal customers, the brand announced its #realmeWithYou campaign.

DamonPS2 is about to have a competition in the near future as a new PS2 emulator has just appeared on Reddit and it seems that it’s a promising one as the developers have mentioned that the emulator is now on closed alpha testing and yet a lot of games are already working for the said emulator and it even works even on the low-end chipsets including the Snapdragon 625.

 

The AetherSX2’s initial performance is initially and way better than the DamonPS2 which is dubbed by some reddit users as a spyware and accusing the creator of the DamonPS2 as stealing the codes from PCSX2.

 

The AetherSX2 Alpha is running pretty well as the PS2 emulator can run Tekken 5 smoothly on the Snapdragon 870 and it was also able to run on Snapdragon 625 but the performance of MGS 3: Snake Eater and GTA: Vice City Stories were terrible.

Taki Udon, a YouTuber mainly discussing about emulators and retro consoles, has also shown the performance of AetherSX2 on different devices including the Dimensity 700 up to the Snapdragon 888+

No specific date yet for the AetherSX2 but do expect the emulator to come out soon.
