ASUS ZenBook 14 UX425EA arrives in the Philippines

ASUS Philippines has launched another notebook in the country and this time, it’s the ASUS Zenbook 14 UX425EA. The new Zenbook 14 comes with a lot of improvements including a 2.8K resolution in its 14-inch panel with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and it also comes with the latest 11th generation Intel Core Processors inside.

Under the hood is also the Intel Iris Xe graphics and 16GB of RAM which is enough for most daily tasks and along with that is a 512GB PCIe 3.0 x2 NVMe SSD and WiFi 6. ASUS is also promising a long 15 hours of battery life in just a single charge.

For the I/O ports, we got here a full HDMI, USB-A port, 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a microSD card reader. Basically, we almost got everything that we need in here for the I/O ports of the notebook. It also comes with a 13.9mm thin body along with 1.17kg weight for the notebook.  Other cool features includes an IR camera and the ASUS Numberpad 2.0 at the touchpad of the notebook.

The ASUS ZenBook 14 is now available in the market and it comes in Windows 10 along with a pre-installed Office 2019. The laptop will be upgradeable to Windows 11 upon its availability this October.

The ASUS ZenBook 14 UX425EA is priced at Php64,995 and it will be available at ASUS Concept Stores and ASUS Official Lazada store.

Samsung has finally made it official — the upgraded Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G with a brand new Snapdragon 778G 5G processor inside but the design of the smartphone is pretty much the same as the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G that we’ve reviewed before. So basically, we’re getting her a better performance in both CPU and GPU.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G also features a Super AMOLED display with a promise of 120Hz refresh rate which means that the smartphone can offer smooth transitions on the smartphone and also for gaming. It also offers IP67 water resistance just like the Galaxy A52 5G.

As for the camera, the smartphone still comes with a 64MP main camera along with 12MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth camera. For the selfies, the smartphone comes with a 32MP selfie camera.

The Awesome Mint and Awesome Violet will be available only on the 128GB variant while the violet will be available on online stores only. While the Awesome White is an online exclusive to the 256GB variant.

YouTube shared its category growth highlights in the Philippines, revealing that overall watchtime in the country increased by 25% from April 2020 to April 2021.

Not only that, but it also reached over 45 million adult viewers aged 18 and above in the country. This just proves that the platform is home to a wide range of contents, including information, entertainment, and how-to videos among others.

YOUTUBE’S CATEGORY GROWTH HIGHLIGHTS (Q1 2021 VS THE SAME PERIOD LAST YEAR)
  • Recipe videos recorded more than 50% increase in watchtime
  • Skincare videos recorded more than 80% increase in watchtime
