Top 5 features that you’ll love about the Huawei nova 8i

The Huawei Nova 8i is the latest mid-range smartphone to arrive in the country and it’s the successor of the widely successful Nova series smartphones from Huawei. With the Huawei nova 8 series, we’re getting two variants – the nova 8 and the nova 8i and today, I’ll share with you some of the features that you’ll love about the Huawei nova 8i

64MP AI Quad-Camera

For the camera of the smartphone, there’s the 64MP quad-camera setup on the smartphone. The camera of the smartphone consists of 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, 2MP depth camera, and also a 2MP macro camera. While for the front camera, the smartphone comes with a 16MP selfie camera.

It’s a high-res camera so you can have more details on your shots but it doesn’t end there because the camera also comes with some features including shooting time-lapse, aperture, portrait, pro mode, super macro mode, night mode, and more.

My favorite on this one is shooting on normal mode and seeing details when I’m shooting as we got here a high-res photos. Check out some of the shots that I took using the smartphone.

At decent lighting conditions, we can shoot well with the smartphone and the AI definitely helps in improving the colors of the shots that we took on the smartphone. We can also take photos using the aperture mode which lets you take photos with bokeh and Super Macro shots if you want to shoot tiny objects at a close range.

The Huawei nova 8i supports one of the fastest charging tech in the market right now and is currently the fastest charger in its price range. The smartphone comes with a 4300mAh battery inside and with the 66W Huawei SuperCharge, you can fully charge the smartphone in just 38 minutes.

This has been very useful to me when I forgot to charge the smartphone before I went to bed and I need to go out early in the morning. I just charged the smartphone for a few minutes and the Huawei nova 8i was able to last a few hours before running out of battery.

Large display for gaming

My favorite feature of the Huawei nova 8i is the large 6.67-inch HUAWEI Edgeless Display of the smartphone. It comes with a 2376×1080 Full HD+ resolution with a 180hz touch sampling rate but the best part about it is the 94.7% narrow bezel of the smartphone.

This means that the smartphone would have a more immersive display, especially when you’re watching movies on the Huawei nova 8i or when you’re playing games on the smartphone. This is one of the most immersive displays that we’ve seen in the midrange segment. The touch sampling rate also helps you to have a faster and more responsive touch when playing games on the smartphone.

An ergonomic design

Without a doubt, the Huawei nova 8i is one of the sexiest smartphones out there in the market. Not only that the smartphone has an immersive display but it also features one of the sexiest design on a midrange smartphone.

First, the smartphone comes in Moonlight Silver, Starry Black, and Interstellar Blue which is all easy to the eyes while the curves of the smartphone are not only sexy but it does help in the grip and ergonomics of the smartphone.

Thanks to the side-mounted fingerprint scanner of the smartphone, it’s fast to unlock and it’s way more natural to use the smartphone as you can already unlock the smartphone when you wake it up with the power key of the Huawei Nova 8i

These days, games on smartphones are getting big with the arrival of games like Call of Duty Mobile and also Genshin Impact but thankfully, you’ll have no problems with that on the Huawei nova 8i as we got here a plenty of storage including a 128GB of internal storage and in case you’re worried about

In our Huawei nova 8i, we were able to install League of Legends: Wild Rift, Genshin Impact, Call of Duty Mobile from the Petal Search Widget and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Huawei AppGallery and we still have a lot of storage left for the smartphone. Also, the 8GB of RAM is more than enough for multi-tasking and gaming on the smartphone.

Smart records most number of mobile data users in the Philippines

Several reports already revealed that Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has the fastest mobile network in the Philippines. Now, a report showed that Smart also bagged the most number of mobile data users in the country.

Smart recorded a total of 39.5 million mobile data users by the end of June 2021, up by 6.1 million compared to the same period last year. In comparison, Globe fell short as it recorded 38.6 million mobile data users by the end of June 2021.

In fact, the income coming from mobile data gave Smart a whopping Php35 billion revenue (or a 12% growth) in the first half of 2021. Meanwhile, Globe only posted a 7% growth over the same period.

MORE FILIPINOS CHOOSE SMART FOR ITS SUPERFAST MOBILE NETWORK SPEED

This growth could be attributed to the telco’s effort in providing its subscribers with the fastest mobile network in the country.

Ookla recently named Smart as the country’s fastest mobile network for the fourth consecutive year, based on an analysis of tests taken with Speedtest. Ookla’s latest report also showed that Smart has the fastest 5G network in the Philippines, covering the first half of 2021.

Other significant awards were also given to Smart, as several independent bodies recognized their fastest network.
