OnePlus is integrating with OPPO

0

OnePlus and OPPO have announced that OnePlus will integrate its team with OPPO. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau took up the SVP position at OPLUS last year which is a company owned by OPPO and has a majority stake in OnePlus and now, Lau is overseeing the product strategy of both OnePlus and OPPO.

Fast forward today, the company has announced that OnePlus will be integrating into OPPO.

I’m confident that this change will be positive for our community and our users. With this deeper integration with OPPO, we will have more resources at hand to create even better products for you. It will also allow us to be more efficient, for example, bringing faster and more stable software updates for OnePlus users.

As for the OnePlus brand – we will continue to operate independently, focused on providing you with the best possible products and experience as we have always done. We will continue launching OnePlus products, holding events (hopefully in person soon) and engaging directly with you for feedback through the same OnePlus channels as before. OnePlus’ commitment to you remains the same.

OnePlus will still be independent from OPPO when it comes to operation and branding but this integration will make

realme teases the arrival of the realme Book and realme Pad

0

Aside from the realme GT 5G that was announced earlier today, realme has also teased their upcoming products to the market and these are the realme Book and the realme pad.

Both products are still scarce when it comes to the details but we just got a first look at both of these devices with the realme Pad featuring flat sides which kinda reminds me of the iPad Pro and also the realme Book that only shows a clean look that is similar to the Macbook Air. The notebook also shows that it has two USB-C ports with one of them featuring a Thunderbolt port.

Well, there’s not much details about these two devices but it’s nice to see that realme is now playing on both laptop and tablet segment. I’m hoping that it would be priced really well too.

Windows 11 leaked! features new UI and enhancements

0

A build of Windows 11 has leaked onto the web just days before the announcement of their next operating system this June 24. The new Windows 11 will feature a brand new UI but it still sticks to the genes of Windows 10 as it has a lot of similarities but it features a new start menu with no live tiles.

Windows 11 does look like Windows 10X which was canceled a few weeks ago. It has the taskbar buttons in the middle which is more ideal as there are more different screen ratio for monitors.

There are rounded corners on the UI of Windows 11 and of course, the icons are also updated on Windows 11. Windows 11 will also come with widgets but they aren’t fully working well

As expected, there will still be the apps on Windows 10 going to Windows 11 including the Microsoft Store. It will also have a new startup sound that will trigger at every boot of the OS.

Many of Windows 11 features are expected to be unveiled this June 24.
