Final Thoughts

The Seagate Backup Plus Hub is quick and has tons of storage and since it has two additional USB 3.0 ports, it doesn’t necessarily hog your expansion option. The drive includes software that lets it work interchangeably with Mac and Windows. Priced at ₱13,500 on their online Shopee Seagate Official store, it might not be as portable as other drives in the market but offers a bigger and wider capacity.

Additionally, it does not heat up over prolonged use though wireless capabilities and RAID features would have been appreciated.

Egg NS is the first Nintendo Switch Emulator for Android

0

Yep, you read that right! A Nintendo Switch emulator for Android does exist and you can play games like Pokemon Sword, Let’s Go Pokemon: Pikachu, and Super Mario Odyssey but of course, there’s a catch to play Nintendo Switch titles on the emulator.

In order to play the game, you’ll need the Egg:NS app first but as of this posting, the app is buggy and it’s prone to crashing right now. Second, you’ll need to buy the Gamesir X2 Controller which lets you have buttons similar to the Nintendo Switch. Lastly, you’ll need to have a smartphone with a powerful chipset — specifically, a Snapdragon 855 smartphone and up and in the demo video, they’ve used the realme X50 Pro 5G that comes with Snapdragon 865 processor.

In the video, it was clearly seen that the smartphone ran different games such as Pokemon Sword, Let’s Go Pokemon: Pikachu, and Super Mario Odyssey. It was noted in the video there were some crashes in the game but we can clearly see that sometimes, the games ran really well with decent speed and FPS on the smartphone.

In Pokemon Sword clip, we’ve seen that roaming around will give you a decent speed and FPS in the game but during battle scenes, we can clearly see a dip in FPS and it may resort to crashing.

In Super Mario Odyssey, the game ran at first but it immediately crash. In Link’s Awakening, the game experience some graphical glitches but the FPS rendered it unplayable. While in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu, the game ran well and the FPS is just fine but there are some games that are perfectly running on the emulator including Hollow Knight.

If you want to check it out, you can download the emulator here: https://eggns.wordpress.com/blog/

Here are other titles that are working on the emulator:

Here are more details regarding the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2

0

Weeks after the Unpacked event for the Galaxy Note20 series and also the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2, the company has released more details regarding their next foldable smartphone and it does come with a lot of new features including a better hinge and also a better display.

Larger and better display

Samsung has made a lot of improvements on the display of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2. First, it now features a bigger 6.2-inch Infinity-O display on the front and also a bigger 7.6-inch main display inside with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate which means that you can have a smoother display when playing games but it automatically adjusts to a lower refresh rate when you’re just reading articles and other stuff with less motion.

This is great for people who want to have a smartphone and also a tablet in one and with this display, it’s perfect to watch movies and videos on the smartphone and if you’re into that, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 now offers a dual speaker which gives a better audio on the smartphone.

A more flexible hinge

One of the main parts that a lot of people that are looking into foldable smartphones is the hinge and thankfully on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2, the company has opted to a better hinge with features like the sweeper technology that was seen on the Galaxy Z Flip that can remove dust and particles from the hinge and also a hideaway hinge and a cam mechanism that allows free-standing on the smartphone. With this feature, the Galaxy Z Fold2 offers more possibilities.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 has also opted for a unified design from the Galaxy Note20 series with its haze design at the back and also the protruding camera at the back that houses the triple-lens camera

Flex Mode

One of the new features on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 is the flex mode. Since we got here a flexible hinge that can go from 75 degrees to 115 degrees on the smartphone, you can do a lot more on the software side of the smartphone. For example when you’re opening the smartphone in half-folded mode, the smartphone can recognize it and it can give you a better layout on some applications including YouTube and other native applications.

Upgraded camera

For taking selfies, you can now have a dual preview mode that lets you use the cover display of the smartphone as another viewfinder so you can use the rear camera for better selfies or just have better poses when you’re shooting on the rear camera of the smartphone.

There’s also another feature called Auto Framing in where the camera follows you or objects that you’re shooting thanks to machine learning and it’s perfect for vloggers who are using the smartphone in flex mode. And since we got flex mode, you can use the smartphone in flex mode and never look for a tripod since the smartphone can stand on itself.

Made for productivity

Another feature that I love on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 is its multi-tasking capabilities. First, you can adjust the smartphone’s DPI which give you the control to have more space and elements on the smartphone’s display. Not only that, you can also have a PC-like UI or tablet UI on some applications including Microsoft Office.

Speaking of Microsoft Office, you can now run two windows simultaneously that are running the same application. This is perfect for those people who are doing something and they need to cross-check their files from another file.

More powerful

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 also got some upgrade inside including the Snapdragon 865+ processor inside and also the 5G capability. Other features include 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage with UFS 3.1. It also comes with Samsung DeX wireless connection, 4500mAh battery, and a Super Fast Charging.

Galaxy Z Premiere Service

If you’re getting the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2, it will come with on-demand concierge support that will let you have door-to-door pick-ups and one-on-one with the experts. It will also automatically be enrolled in Samsung Care+ in where it provides one-time device protection against accidental damage within one year of the purchasing date.
