The launch of the iPhone 12 is getting really near and screenshots of the PVT (Production Validation Test) have just leaked by the known leaker, Jon Prosser. The source of the screenshot allegedly came from the iPhone 12 Pro Max that packs a 6.7-inch display and also a 120Hz refresh rate.
In the PVT unit, the screenshot clearly shows the toggle to enable or disable the high refresh rate of the smartphone. Aside from that, thereās the toggle for the Adaptive Refresh Rate too. However, Jon Prosser have also noted that some units doesnāt come with 120Hz displays so itās also possible that this feature might not arrive on the iPhone 12 Pro series soon.
Thereās another screenshot for the camera in where it confirms the LiDAR camera that will help in auto focus and subject detection for video and night mode of the smartphone and it also comes with 4K@240fps Slow Mo.

Realme Philippines has recently released a brand new smartphone that is meant for the more budget market and itās the realme C11. The smartphone is made for those people who need a smartphone at this time but of course, still packs a punch when it comes to the specifications of the smartphone.
Realme C11 Review: Design
First, letās get down to the build quality of the smartphone. As expected, it will have a plastic build but itās no ordinary build quality as we got here a large body with a polycarbonate back with a textured finish which reminds me of the realme C3 that weāve reviewed before.
Thereās a large body on this smartphone but despite that, I didnāt have any problems with its ergonomics as this one is comfortable to hold and it isnāt slippery in the hand. The design of this one is quite unique too as we got here a single stripe at the back with the realme logo and with the Mint Green color that we got does look refreshing to my eye.
The rear camera module at the back does look pretty to me and unlike most smartphones in 2020, this one doesnāt have a protruding camera module. It also houses two cameras at the back and I think the smartphoneās design for its price range was pretty great.
Below, we can see the headphone jack of the smartphone along with the micro USB port. For charging, the smartphone supports up to 10W of charging which isnāt fast but for a budget smartphone like the realme C11? I wouldnāt complain.
Unfortunately, the smartphone doesnāt have a fingerprint scanner but thankfully, we got here a face unlock on the smartphone so you donāt have to worry about the security
Realme C11 review: Display
IN the smartphone, we got here a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution and an IPS Panel. In my usage, I was pretty happy with the quality of the display. Viewing angles are pretty good and the brightness of the smartphone was just fine.
The smartphone got a notch in here but thereās no punch-hole camera in here which is just fine with me considering that the smartphone got an affordable price.
Realme C11 Review: Battery life
One of the best features of the smartphone is the 5000mAh battery inside the smartphone and it promises a long battery life and in my usage, I was pretty happy that the smartphone can last more than a day of average use with some checking on social media and also a little bit of gaming.
In PCMark, we were happy to see that we got a score of 16 hours which is great for a smartphone with these specifications and price range. This makes sure that the realme C11 is great for those people who want to use this smartphone for online classes.
Realme C11 Review: Software and performance
The realme C11 comes with realme UI based on Android 10 and I still love the speed and the UI of the smartphone. We got here the colors that are really nice to the eyes and just like the other smartphones with realme UI, we got here a smooth and fluid take on its UI.
Inside the smartphone, we got here a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset along with 2GB of RAM. For a budget smartphone, this one does have a pretty good processing power and in my usage, it isnāt a problem when running most social media applications and also some casual games.
When playing games, the realme C11 can run basic applications without problems but multi-tasking on the smartphone might be a little too taxing on the smartphone. Before we get down to the games, check out the benchmarks that we got on the smartphone.
When it comes to games, the realme C11 can play PUBG Mobile, but we only set it up to balanced graphics with medium frame rate and of course, it wonāt have a problem when playing popular light games like Mobile Legends but it won’t get the highest FPS. In Call of Duty Mobile, we still enjoyed the game despite the 94% FPS stability and 54 fps.
Realme C11 review: Camera
It might be a budget smartphone but the realme C11 will pack a 13MP main camera along with 2MP portrait lens that you can use for better bokeh while for the selfies, the realme C11 got a 5MP selfie camera and it does the job done if you want a basic smartphone for taking selfies.
But first, letās talk about the rear camera of the smartphone, the quality was fine for an affordable budget smartphone and itās actually just fine for taking basic shots. The colors are good but I notice the shots weāre too soft at night. Check out the shots that I took using the realme C11:

Realme C11 Review: Verdict
Thereās a lot of budget smartphones out there but the realme C11 is definitely one of the best out there. We got here large display, large battery, and a decent processor inside the smartphone which is more than enough for most people. It might not be a perfect smartphone but it’s definitely great for its price.

Best Laptops under 30K ā Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i
Getting a laptop less than Php 30,000 is a tedious and stressful task because of the mixed choices of old stocks and brand-new ones. Luckily, the IdeaPad Slim 3i has a very competitive configuration available ranging from Php 20K to Php 30k. Thereās a good balance of CPU and storage options available for the IdeaPad Slim 3i. Our top picks are the 26,995 and 29,995 variants. Upgrade the RAM with another 4GB stick in either variant for a complete, lag-free user experience.
Best Laptop Under 40K
Taking the spot once again is the IdeaPad Slim 3i packing a more powerful i5-1035G1 processor and upgraded MX330 graphics. Upgrading the laptop with an additional 4GB memory for an additional Php 1,500 makes it the perfect all-rounder for work, online learning, and even some light gaming.
Best Laptops under 50K ā Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i
The IdeaPad Slim 5i is a beefed-up brother of the IdeaPad Slim 3i not just in specs but in overall build quality. It has a better panel, battery, keyboard, and of course, aesthetics. Just like the IdeaPad Slim 3i, the IdeaPad Slim 5i has a 14ā and 15.6ā form factor to choose from, with an impressive FHD IPS (In-Plane Switching) display thatās decked with 4-side narrow bezels to make the screen larger and easier on the eyes when reviewing worksheets and documents. What makes it better than its predecessors is that both form factors of the IdeaPad Slim 5i have the same configurations available so the user doesnāt have to compromise on specs regardless of which size he/she chooses.
Best Laptops under 60K ā Lenovo Yoga S730 & Yoga C740
Lenovoās Yoga series laptops are one of the best convertibles available in the market. It simply gives you ergonomic flexibility that would want to make you switch from laptop to tablet and vice versa, more often. For the Php 60k budget, we have two Yoga notebooks in mind. The Yoga C740 is one of the cheapest yet spec-heavy convertibles available and its build quality doesnāt disappoint. If youāre not a convertible type, then Lenovoās thinnest Yoga laptop, the S730 offers much more performance at a lower price. Whether itās a thin and light 13.3ā laptop or a 14ā laptop tablet, the Yoga series should be at the top of your list.
Ā Best Laptops under 70K ā Yoga Duet 7i and Yoga Slim 7i
A budget of Php 70,000 should give you a premium build quality paired with top-notch specs that should last you for years. Our top recommendation for a Php 70k premium laptop comes in the form of the Yoga Duet 7i and Yoga Slim 7i. Lenovo introduces yet another premium 2-in-1 to further bolster its presence in the convertible laptop market. The Yoga Duet 7i takes its slim form from key elements of its Lenovo laptop siblings, making its quality and feature set stand out. Moreover, the pen and smart keyboard are already included for its Php 64,995 price tag, making it a great value for those looking for a 2-in-1 device. Moving to the ultra-premium category is the Yoga Slim 7i with its stylish look packed with superb specs. Frankly, the Yoga Slim 7i is a hard laptop to beat thanks to its spec and feature set. The Yoga Slim 7i is simply an all-rounder be it for professionals, business executives, or for people just looking for a quality entertainment device.
All that plus FREE Lifetime Office 2019 and up to 3-year Premium Care Warranty
In case you didnāt notice in the pictures, all of the laptops mentioned carry Lenovoās signature Premium Care warranty thatās been mostly upgraded to cater to customers for three years, leave for the more affordable variants of the IdeaPad Slim 3i. Premium meaning thereās a dedicated hotline to call for troubleshooting and warranty claims plus an inhouse technician service where Lenovoās tech support comes to your doorstep. Aside from that, Lenovo bundles a free lifetime license of Microsoft Office 2019 in almost all of its laptops. Itās a value-add especially for those looking for a laptop suitable for online learning.

Thereās a lot of budget smartphones that are already available in the market but if youāre looking for a competitive one that comes with pretty good specifications and price then the Huawei Y6p might be the right smartphone for you.
Huawei Y6p Review: Design and hardware
The Huawei Y6p comes with a flat back with curved sides and itās easy to grip despite the flat back of the smartphone which is made up of glossy plastic with S-shaped reflections at the back. It might be glasstic but the smartphone doesnāt look cheap.
On the right side of the smartphone is where you can find the power button and also the volume rocker of the smartphone. Thankfully, we still got here the fingerprint scanner which can be found at the back of the smartphone. Another thing to consider on this one thereās no large protruding camera at the back which has been a norm on a most smartphone so thereās no wobble when youāre placing it on the table.
For the ports, we got here a micro USB port along with the 3.5mm audio jack below and of course, thereās the speaker grill too which is expected on most smartphones. Of course, thereās the sim card tray too that can house two nano sim cards and also a microSD card.
Huawei Y6p Review: Display
Thereās the 6.3-inch display on the smartphone too with a TFT LCD IPS panel and it comes with an HD+ resolution as expected. Of course, we also got here the notch that houses the front-facing camera of the smartphone and itās not the best smartphone display even for its price range but it will be fine using it outside but I notice that the colors of this smartphone is a little bit lacking.
Huawei Y6p Review: Battery
One of the advantages of having this smartphone is the 5000mAh battery inside it along with the micro USB port of this one and in our test, we got a pretty good score of 16 hours which means that it does have a long battery life and it can last more than a day of usage for some people.
Huawei Y6p Review: Software and Performance
The Huawei Y6p is running on Android 10 based on EMUI 10.1 and as expected, you should be running Huawei AppGallery for this one in case you want to download applications for your smartphone. I highly suggest that you get the Petal Search Widget so you can easily search for applications and download them to your smartphone directly.
When it comes to the UI, itās fast and responsive enough for most usage and I didnāt had any problems navigating with it as this one is user friendly and it doesnāt lag despite using a dated processor.
Huawei Y6p Review: Performance
One of the things that you might be curious about the Huawei Y6p is the performance. We got here a MediaTek P22 Octa-Core Processor and 4GB of RAM. For its price, this one has a large amount of RAM and itās actually one of its selling point while for the processor, itās a little bit dated but it can still do its job well for basic applications on the smartphone.
You can launch basic applications such as social media apps without problems but if you want gaming, you might want to turn down the graphics settings on this smartphone. To give you an idea about the performance, check out the becnhmarks that we got on the Huawei Y6p.
For gaming, we played games like Call of Duty Mobile and PUBG MObile on the smartphone and our experience on this one is what we can expect on a smartphone with this chipset. You can run these games but you have to set it at a lower setting in order for these games to run well.
Huawei Y6p Review: Camera
For the camera, the smartphone got a 13MP main camera along with 5MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Thankfully, these three lenses are quite useful since macro lenses are mostly useless in most smartphone while for the selfie, we got here an 8MP selfie camera.
This is a basic Android smartphone and the shots that we can get in here were just fine for its price range. Itās colorful enough, sharp and bright for most cases. But of course, it still has some cons when shooting as sometimes, it gets a little bit soft in some cases. Check out the shots that we took using the smartphone:

Verdict
The Huawei Y6p is a decent smartphone considering that this one is a Php5,990 smartphone and weāre getting here a smartphone with a large battery and a large RAM which is essential for most people as you can have longer battery life and you can run more applications simultaneously with lags and problems.
If you want a smartphone with long battery life and also large storage and memory then you might want to consider this one on your next purchase, the Huawei Y6p. The smartphone is now available for Php5,990.
