24K Gold, Platinum, and Rose Gold Special Edition PS5 Launching this Christmas Season

0

The Playstation 5 is slated for release this holiday 2020 but the demand for Sony’s new console is very high that there are actual concerns if Sony is able to meet the demand. Retailers are even limiting the pre-orders to one unit per person to ensure that there will be no resellers. If you want to get your hands on the PS5 but don’t want to pay some shady reseller, then the limited edition PS5 line from Truly Exquisite is something that you should consider, that is, if you have the money.

PS5 is arguably the most anticipated games console to ever be released and many people have been waiting years for this release. By offering a luxury limited edition PS5 for those individuals that truly want to stand out will be a popular choice.

We’ve shown some of our most exclusive clients are renderings of the PS5 and have already had customers wanting to order these even without it being released. These will be hugely popular especially due to them being limited pieces with probably no more than 100 pieces released worldwide.

– Kunal Patel, founder and CEO of Truly Exquisite

While we don’t have an exact date when the PS5 will release, the 24K Gold PS5 titled the Special Limited Luxury Edition will be available around December, albeit in extremely limited quantity. There will be also cheaper editions such as the Platinum PS5 and Rose Gold PS5 up for grabs alongside the Special Limited Luxury Edition.

LG UltraGear 24GL600F Review

0

In this day, pushing for more refresh rate on monitors are essential to have an advantage in games especially on shooter and FPS games that are available now and if you’re looking for one, LG has been pushing the UltraGear 24GL600F, a gaming monitor that won’t break the bank.

First, let’s talk about what we can expect from the build of the monitor. The design doesn’t scream RGB and gaming but it definitely feels that it’s a gaming monitor. Personally, I prefer the design of the monitor as this one has a minimalistic and subtle design.

At the back is where we can find the red halo that gives us a nice look at the budget monitor and inside that is where you can find the ports for the monitor. The LG UltraGear 24GL600F comes with a VESA mount too if you don’t want to use the included stand of the monitor.

For the ports, there’s the DisplayPort 1.2, 2x HDMI 2.0, and also a headphone jack. I would prefer the DisplayPort for better performance but the HDMI would do just fine if you want to take advantage of the AMD Freesync that comes with this monitor.

For the stand, it does look fine for me with no quirky design but it does have a red color at the back which looks great along with the great red circle at the back of the monitor. Unfortunately, there’s no height adjustment and also the tilting on the monitor is limited which is expected since this is a budget gaming monitor but we still got here a VESA mount so you can use that one instead.

Thankfully, the LG UltraGear 24GL600F only features a simple joystick just below the monitor which lets you open the menu of the monitor and of course, navigate through it. The menu was no-nonsense and it’s very easy to use and of course, you can easily turn on or off the freesync and also activate the 1ms Motion Blur Reduction and the 144Hz refresh rate.

Now, let’s get down to the display of the monitor. We got here a TN panel and a 1920×1080 resolution. If you’re so used to reading IPS panels on smartphones, the TN Panels has an advantage when it comes to monitors like this to give you a higher refresh rate but the viewing angles aren’t as good as the one on IPS panels. Another thing to notice in this monitor is that bezel isn’t so thin but for some people, they might not

As expected, the display of this one wouldn’t have the colors as we can expect on an IPS panel but figuring out and adjusting it out of the box did helped me in achieving better colors on the LG UltraGear 24GL600F.

Regarding the monitor, this one does not have excellent viewing angles but for its price and considering that this one uses TN Panel, this one is still fine with me. Now let’s go to the good part. First, this one has a really good response time speed of 1ms that surely gives you smooth motions with no trailing when viewing fast motion content or you can choose a 144Hz refresh rate that can give you a really smooth experience on FPS games like Overwatch, Valorant and more.

One of my favorite feature of the UltraGear monitor is the crosshair in where I can place a crosshair on top of the monitor which gives me an advantage on FPS games as I do not need to aim on FPS games sometimes.

If you’re looking for a gaming monitor that won’t cost you an arm and leg then you might want to consider the LG UltraGear 24GL600F. It’s not a perfect monitor but if you want something for gaming, you would definitely love the 144Hz refresh rate of this monitor and also the 1ms motion blur reduction feature of the monitor.

The LG UltraGear 24GL600F is now available for Php12,599.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i is the ideal work from home laptop, here’s why

0

The unfortunate COVID-19 pandemic caused a shift in people’s lifestyle and working conditions to prevent the spread of the virus. The paradigm shift also caused the PC and Laptop market to boom as the Philippines transitions to online learning and working at home. Getting the right device to fit both criteria is a hard task for the non-techies as the market is flooded with a sea of options from old stock laptops to new ones packing Intel’s 10th generation Ice Lake processors.

Getting the right laptop for online learning/work from home, entertainment, or both is surely a hard task considering budget limitations. Moreover, not all people can go to the mall and physically try out laptops and decide on the spot. Fortunately, getting a laptop that excels in daily tasks especially in productivity and entertainment is no longer expensive thanks to Lenovo’s newly released laptops, particularly the IdeaPad Slim 5i.

Lenovo’s innovations with the widest range of PCs, tablets, accessories, smartphones, software, and services, to augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), smart home/office solutions, and commercial applications allow it to deliver its smarter technology promise for more people and businesses to unlock their potential. Included in this portfolio is the IdeaPad Slim 5i, a device that we can surely say is one of the crucial technologies that help meet basic needs and keep the world going in the middle of this pandemic.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i is the ideal laptop that excels in productivity and entertainment thanks to a blend of features that you won’t find in other devices of the same price point. Here are our reasons why we think the IdeaPad Slim 5i is the perfect laptop for your quarantine needs.

Splendid Performance

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i is one of Lenovo’s newest devices fresh from the factory. It sports Intel’s 10th generation Ice Lake processors which boast an improvement on performance compared to previous generations. Aside from the powerful CPU, the IdeaPad Slim 5i is using a Samsung PM991 NVMe SSD which boasts transfer speeds of up to 2,000MB/s – up to 12x faster than a traditional laptop HDD at 120MB/s.

Plethora of Connectivity options

Traditionally, laptops as thin as the IdeaPad Slim 5i tend to sacrifice connectivity to achieve a slim profile. But that isn’t the case with the IdeaPad Slim 5i as it sports two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB-C Gen 1 port with PD and DP support, an HMDI 1.4b port, an SD card reader and a headphone / mic combo. The only thing that’s missing that’s very rare for non-gaming laptops is an ethernet port. The Slim 5i addresses this by having Wi-Fi 6 support thanks to Intel’s Ice Lake processors and it also supports the latest Bluetooth 5.1 technology.

Robust Battery Life

You’re probably used to carrying your laptop charger with you and refuse to work without an outlet nearby. Well, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i solves your fears by having a robust 57Wh battery. Moreover, Intel 10th Gen CPUs are highly power-efficient which guarantees the IdeaPad Slim 5i surviving a full day’s work. Lastly, the IdeaPad Slim 5i supports Power Delivery charging thru its USB Type-C port. Meaning, if you have a PD supported charger or a PD powerbank, you can use either to charge the IdeaPad Slim 5i. If you still want to carry the charger, you’d be thankful for the very slim power adapter which is almost the same size as your phone.

Entertainment Value

Gaming-wise, the IdeaPad Slim 5i gives players a unique experience thanks to its two available graphics options. Its NVIDIA GeForce MX350 dedicated graphics card enables faster photo and video editing and allows the laptop to handle several AAA games at decent framerates. To conserve battery, gamers can also switch to the Intel Iris Graphics integrated within the 10th generation processor. The Iris Graphics can surely play light games such as League of Legends and Valorant. The keyboard is both great for typing and your standard WASD gaming as it inherits the signature Lenovo ThinkPad keyboard DNA.

Affordable Price

All of the mentioned features of the IdeaPad Slim 5i make it look like it’s a premium laptop. Yes, it is indeed a premium laptop with a superb build quality and performance, but it doesn’t come with a premium price tag. For the starting price of Php 49,995 you can get the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i with an Intel Core i5 1035G1, 8GB 3200Mhz RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD. You can go all out with an Intel Core i7 1065G7 CPU for only Php 59,995.
