Cloudfone NBA Edition: The First NBA-Themed smartphone in SEA

Cloudfone and NBA have recently launched the first Cloudfone NBA Edition Smartphone and it’s a first in Southeast Asia. This smartphone will feature NBA-themed wallpaper and ringtones and of course, the NBA app, NBA Live and mobile data allowance. The Cloudfone NBA Edition smartphone is the first in Southeast Asia and it will be packed with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, LTE, 16GB of Internal Storage, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and 4000mAh battery.

 

Aside from that, for a limited time only, there will be NBA-themed phone cases that will be available for every purchase of the Cloudfone NBA Edition. Cloudfone will also be present in events such as Jr. NBA Philippines presented by Alaska, NBA FIT, and NBA 3X.

 

The Cloudfone NBA Edition will be available this May 1 at an introductory price of P8,999.

Cherry Prepaid launches their 700MHz ready LTE Sim

Cherry Prepaid has recently launched their newest LTE Sim that is already 700MHz ready. In case you didn’t know, Cherry Prepaid is the telco brand of Cherry Mobile and they’re relying on another telco for their backbone network.

 

Alongside the launch of their LTE Sim, Cherry Prepaid has also announced their newest prepaid promos for Cherry Prepaid for Call, Texts, and of course, for Data. For call & text, they offer tri-net text or tri-net call starting at P5.

For surfing, you can have 200MB of data for P20 that is valid for 7 days, 700MB of data for P50 that is valid for 15 days, and 1.2GB of data for P99 that is valid for 30 days. You can also register up to 6GB of mobile data valid for 60 days for P499.

The Cherry Mobile Prepaid LTE Sim is now available for P29.

Finally, the OPPO F3, the smaller brother of the OPPO F3 Plus will be launched this May. Just like the F3 Plus, the OPPO F3 will pack a dual lens front camera that will allow you to take great selfies and also groufies without the use of monopod.

 

The OPPO F3 will be launching this May 4 and they’ve started giving out invites to media and bloggers. We still don’t know the full hardware specifications of the OPPO F3 so we expect to know that officially on May 4. The OPPO F3 is expected to be smaller than the OPPO F3 Plus which is rocking a 6-inch display. But despite the large display of the OPPO F3 Plus, the smartphone feels smaller than I expected but of course, the comfortability of holding the smartphone will still depend on the user.

 

The OPPO F3 is set to debut in the Philippines on May 4.

The 2017 Android flagship is about to get hotter as Xiaomi has now joined the race with their newest smartphone, the Mi 6. The smartphone packs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, and it will have a glossy finish but it doesn’t follow the trend of thin bezels like the LG G6 and the Samsung Galaxy S8. Nonetheless, the Xiaomi Mi 6 still a beautiful and packs a real 2017 flagship hardware.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is available in 64GB variant which will cost you RMB 2499 (Php 18,055) while the 128GB variant will cost you RMB 2899 (Php 20,945) while the Xiaomi Mi 6 Ceramic Edition which will have 128GB of storage and four sided curved ceramic design, will cost you RMB 2999 (Php 21,667).

One of the best games that was created for PC,  Starcraft, will now be available for free and yes,  Starcraft: Brood War will also be included. This surprise move from Blizzard doesn’t come with a catch and you can download a copy now for your Mac or PC.
This move is in preparation of the launch of Starcraft Remastered this year.  Maybe by letting you play Starcraft for free,  you would be able to experience how good the game is and then you would be craving for the remastered version so that you’ll get a better graphics and optimization for it. Good strategy Blizzard.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ ditched the hardware buttons in favor of on-screen buttons and it was the best decision that Samsung has ever made as the smartphone now packs a beautiful curved display with very thin bezels. Not only that, Samsung also packed in a powerful hardware inside and a camera that blows away the competition. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are truly the most beautiful and powerful smartphone in the market.

 

Here’s the good news, if you really want to get the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ on May 5, you can get at Smart even at Plan 399.
