I just saw the price of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play from the Terms and Conditions of a Facebook app. The Facebook app First2PLAY is an application by Sony Ericsson where you can get a chance to win a Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. The contest is only open to US and Canadian residents only :(. Click read more to know the price of Xperia Play!

As you can see the approximate retail value of Xperia Play is $400 (400 x 45 = PHP18000). I think the price is reasonable. I’m planning to buy this phone when it comes out. Sony Ericsson, Next time don’t include the ARV of your devices haha.

Uberstrike Facebook FPS game

FPS games are getting cooler these days. I just saw one of my friends playing this so, I got curious, again. I thought that this game was crappy and stupid but I was wrong. Uberstrike is one of the best FPS game on a browser I’ve seen so far.

Just like the other FPS game, it has its own store and this one has a great graphics for its platform. There are many Filipinos playing in this game, and I think most of them love Special Force. Anyway, if you want to play this game just look for uberstrike app on facebook and your good to go :). I just started playing this one but this game is sooooo addicting. Anyway here are some screenshots:

It’s been a month since I switched. Well, there are a lot of pros and cons of being a mac user. But despite these cons (including that Macbook Pro refresh!, dammit apple, why did you update your macbook pro?, oh Gawd, Its depressing!) I still prefer to stay on Jobs’ than Ballmer’s. Why? Here are my reasons, why I still prefer Mac over Windows

No shutdown, sleep only. I didn’t shut down my mac for the first two weeks, yes, you just read it right. Not 2 hours but two weeks. How?, well I just close the lid of my laptop. I just let my Macbook Pro sleep when I’m not using it. IMO, Mac has the best power management in the whole wide world. I always plugged in to the nearest A/C whenever there’s available around hehe. I turned off my Mac after two weeks because I need to calibrate the battery. FYI, calibrating the battery can improve its battery life cycle

Hey Mac, I need that app!. One of the downsides of having a Mac is the lack of Windows Applications counterparts. And I don’t recommend this to hardcore gamers because most of the cool games on Windows are not available on Mac. Fortunately, there is an application in Mac OS X called Bootcamp. It allows you to run Windows natively on a Mac. But expect some bugs and errors on that. You rarely encounter those things on Bootcamp btw.

iPhone look!, I got an App store too!. When I bought my Mac, the first thing I did is to update it. Thanks to OS X 10.6.6, the Mac App store arrived on Snow Leopard. There are a lot of paid apps on the app store when it was launched and the applications and games are limited. But soon enough the Mac App store will grow and will produce more cool apps.

Those are just some experiences that I like on my Mac. I’m still waiting for OS X Lion, since it will feature some iPad features that I like and they’ll add more gestures to it.

Asphalt, one of the most popular game on the handheld devices finally hit the Mac App store. It was released few days ago. I enjoyed playing this game on my iPod touch and I’m planning to get a copy for my mac soon.

The objects are in low-res (watch the HD version to notice that). But I already expect that since this is a game made for the handheld and not for the PC and Mac. Hope they can port more games to Mac

Can’t believe that Android is so popular?, well here’s a graph that shows how many people activated their Android Devices from October 2008 to January 2011.

In North America, the Android became popular thanks to the Droid devices. Galaxy S made a boost to Android as well. The Philippines has only a small Android activation. Maybe, we can see a lot of Android activation this year if Cellphone manufacturers can create more cheap Android devices.
