Twitter’s new layout

Twitter just introduced its new design for their website and I think it would be more user-friendly than their past layouts. Oh and this one is soooo clean and modern. I really like the design, too bad I haven’t tested it yet personally because it isn’t out yet. Oh and the mobile app for iOS and Android has been changed too!. There are now new tabs to choose from — Home, Connect, Discover and Me. Anyway if you want to know more about the new layout of Twitter, you can check it out here: http://fly.twitter.com/ . Oh and there’s a video after the break!

HTC Explorer Specs and Price in the Philippines

0

When I asked my friends what do they think of HTC. They told me that they create a phone which has excellent design and structure but it is too expensive for them. They’re right, most of the HTC phones ranges from 10k(HTC Wildfire S) – 30k(HTC Titan). But there are some affordable phones from HTC like the HTC ChaCha, HTC Wildfire S and the HTC Explorer. HTC explorer is an Android phone with 600 mhz scorpion processor with the latest HTC Sense 3.5 compared to HTC Wildfire S’ Sense 2.1. Oh and it has a 3.2 Megapixel camera sensor (Which I think is too looooow). I recommend this phone for those who want to have their first smartphones.

Excited for Ice Cream Sandwich?. If you are then you might want to get this phone at Widget City!, the Galaxy Nexus!. Obviously, this phone is made by Samsung (Look at that, it has Galaxy in its name!). It is the first phone to receive the much awaited Ice cream sandwich update by Google. Some of the features that I like about this phone is the curve 4.65″ HD screen. Yep, it has a 1280 x 720 (that’s bigger than my first laptop, the Dell inspiron 2500!). PS Vita will stream your PS3 games at PSP Resolution

0

Good news for PS3 owners!. If you are drooling and wanting to have a PS Vita AKA PSP2, then you might just want to drool more because the PS Vita will be allowed to stream PS3 games straight to your PS Vita. Well, there’s one thing that I don’t really like about it, the resolution is stuck at PSP resolution. That’s 480 x 272 compared to PS Vita’s 960 x 544 resolution

Well, you just need a firmware update to your PS3 to enable this (which I think will be available soon). You can do this as long as the PS3 and the PS Vita is connected to the internet and I think you really need a fast internet to enjoy playing PS3 games on your PS Vita. Here’s a video of Killzone 3 on the PS Vita after the break

Breaking: Kindle Fire arriving in the Philippines

0

In my last post, I told you that Widget City will be selling the Motorola RAZR XT910 aka Motorola RAZR Droid soon. Last night, our partner just announced that they’ll be selling Kindle Fire, a Dual core tablet from Amazon which is very affordable. The price? well, it is just below the P20k mark. It is even below 15k!. Anyway, this tablet won’t be using the Android Marketplace instead, it will use the Amazon Marketplace which has a tons of apps too. Anyway, you can start pre-ordering at their site at http://widgetcity.com.ph/. Just contact them and you can get it at PHP13,800 only. I’m still wondering if the Amazon services will work on the Philippines, but I think you just need to set up some proxy so that you can download apps and other things to your kindle fire

The slimmest smartphone in the market, the Motorola RAZR XT910 will finally land in the Philippine shores soon via our favorite online store, Widget City. Few years ago, The Motorola RAZR changed the mobile industry by its slim clamshell design. This 2011, Motorola combined the best features of RAZR and the goodness that we taste on Android. Some other notable features of the Motorola RAZR XT910 are 8 Megapixel which is capable of 1080p@30fps and 480p@120fps

At 7.1mm thin, it still have a Gorilla Glass display, HDMI port, Super AMOLED Screen and a 1780 mah battery. Surprising, isn’t it?. Anyway, the Motorola RAZR XT910 pre-orders will start tomorrow at Widget City at  P32,499.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Specs, First Impressions and Price in the Philippines

0
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S Lockscreen

One of the sexiest in the market right now is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and Xperia Arc S. The difference with the two phones is that the Arc S is 40% faster than the Original Xperia Arc (Xperia Arc S has 1.4 ghz processor). I thought having a phone at more than 4.0″ screen will be hard to type on using only one hand (I’m just a kid you know!) but that changed when I used the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S. This thing was so fast, never thought that I wouldn’t experience any slowdowns or hangs even at browsing pages with a lot of flash.

I believe that Sony Ericsson phones are one of the most optimized phones in Android. Xperia Arc is purely made up of plastic which makes the phone light and not-so-durable feel. The camera was great especially at low-light. The Mobile Bravia Engine was excellent, it improves the quality of pictures and videos on the 4.2″ display but when transferred to PC or Mac, it just go back to the original quality of the picture. Watch out for the review soon on JAM Online!. For the meantime, join our Euroo Speaker raffle!

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S Specifications

LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen, 854 x 480 pixels, 4.2 inches

OMG Deals!: LG Optimus 2x for P15,800

0

Widget City, my favorite online store, offers a lot of cheap gadgets especially smartphones. One smartphone catches my attention. Why?. Because it is a dual core smartphone which is below the 20k mark. Interesting huh?. For months, I’ve been recommending Widget city to my readers because they offer a cheap price for smartphones and yet they offer a 1 year warranty at their store. Anyway, Dual core smartphones are on the rise for the past few months. They are faster than any single core processors and they are capable of recording and playback 1080p videos. For P15,800, this is the cheapest dual core phone that you can find

If you want to know the specifications of this phone, you can check it out here:
