Infinix has introduced its latest offering under the new GT series branding – the GT 10 Pro. Positioned as a budget-friendly gaming device, this smartphone combines gaming-oriented features and striking design elements.
Amidst recent reports of Infinix phasing out the ZERO branding from its smartphones, the GT 10 Pro marks a significant shift towards this new design. While inheriting certain traits from the NOTE 30 Pro model, such as the 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and a 32-megapixel selfie camera, the GT 10 Pro distinguishes itself with its focused gaming appeal.
Gaming-Centric Features and Design
The phone’s gamer-centric identity is prominently showcased through its cyberpunk-themed back panel, illuminated by vibrant RGB lighting reminiscent of the TECNO POVA 5 Pro.
Meanwhile, a Dimensity 8050 processor powers the device. This setup ensures optimal performance for gaming enthusiasts by sporting a maximum CPU clock speed of 3.0GHz and complemented by a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. Backed by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, the device aims to deliver a seamless gaming experience.
Display Excellence and Innovative Features
The smartphone features an AMOLED display that supports switchable refresh rates of 120Hz, 90Hz, and 60Hz. Additionally, the 360Hz touch sampling rate ensures swift input responsiveness for gaming precision. The display also has an in-display fingerprint scanner, 10-bit color support, and 1920Hz PWM dimming, all contributing to a high-quality visual experience. Notably, the GT 10 Pro also operates on Pure XOS 13, a user interface that Infinix claims to have streamlined by reducing unnecessary pre-installed apps.
Infinix has set an estimated price point of $250 (~Php14,000), and will be available soon in the market.
