This 2020, we’ll have a new motorcycle taxi service and it’s called Joyride. The app aims to compete against Angkas in where the latter enjoys a monopoly of the motorcycle taxi in the Philippines. This is part of DOTr’s TWG extension on the pilot run of motorcycle taxis in the country.
Joyride’s service is basically the same with Angkas but they’ll have their own pool of drivers. Their app is already available at Android and iOS but their operation hasn’t started yet.
