TECNO Mobile announces the grand winner of its first Movie Masters Program

TECNO Mobile announced its first-ever grand winner of the Movie Masters Program, which features beautiful short films captured using the CAMON 18 Premier smartphone.

The brand named filmmaker Johanna Serrano as the Grand Winner for her film, Bukidnon An Eco Adventure. In the short film, Serrano showcases the beauty of Bukidnon, sharing raw and authentic moments that she experienced during her trip.

Serrano brought home a whopping Php300,000 film grant, along with the chance to create a short film with famed director Paul Soriano and his TEN17P team. Moreover, TECNO Mobile will release her short film this December globally.

Apart from this fantastic opportunity, Serrano was also recognized as one of the two TECNO Mobile 2022 Tourism Ambassadors. The other ambassador was Felix Ablao Jr., who had the steadiest video entry for the Shaky Video Championship on Facebook.

Both ambassadors received Holiday Travel Funds, amounting to Php40,000 as their prize.
Meanwhile, Direk Paul Soriano praised the CAMON 18 Premier for capturing great videos. He also urged filmmakers to take advantage of opportunities, like the Movie Masters Program

vivo has launched its new Communications Network Laboratory in Dongguan, China. According to the brand, this serves as its global base for mobile communication technology innovation.

For instance, vivo loaded it with an impressive 5G infrastructure. With this, the facility can adjust and simulate variable frequency ranges of global commercial networks. This allows the lab to accommodate a significant number of tests, which previously needed to be performed outdoors.

The lab also allows engineers to simulate various commercial environments, where a multitude of tasks such as gaming, video calling, and live streaming happen.

In addition, the lab also conducts a strict testing program of each smartphone, including more than 4,000 hours of uninterrupted power supply stress tests, more than 1,000 hours of data transfer tests, and more than 10,000 mobile original and terminated calls.
