0

The Realme 5i is affordable!

Realme wants to start the year with a bang by launching the Realme 5i in the Philippines. The smartphone is one of the newest budget smartphones in town as we got here a design and specifications that are very similar to the Realme 5 that we’ve reviewed before but this time, it will be cheaper with some changes on the smartphone.

The Realme 5i still have the features that we love on the Realme 5 – a quad-camera lens, a Snapdragon 665 processor, a large display, and a large 5000mAh battery but they’ve downgraded the selfie camera to 8MP. We still have here a 3GB RAM which is decent enough for an entry-level smartphone and then there’s the 64GB storage which is enough for most users.

Realme 5i Specs

  • 6.5-inch HD+ IPS Dewdrop display, 20:9 display ratio
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 655 Octa-Core Processor
  • 3GB RAM
  • 64GB internal storage expandable via MicroSD
  • 12MP f/1.8 camera + 8MP Ultra-wide angle lens + 2MP macro camera + 2MP depth sensor
  • 8MP selfie camera
  • LTE, Dual SIM
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS
  • Fingerprint scanner
  • 5000mAh battery
  • Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6

The smartphone is truly one of the best in the price range due to the value that we’re getting. Basically the smartphone focuses on all the things that we need on a smartphone – a quad-camera, large display, powerful processor, and a large battery.

The Realme 5i is priced at Php6,990.
