Google+ was recently been launched to a limited number of people and fortunately, I got an invite (thanks Technobaboy!). Obviously, Google+ was influenced by the king of social network, Facebook. This one looks like Facebook but Google+ has a cleaner UI and effects but Google+ needs to improve more in order to catch up with Facebook

Anyway here’s my first impressions with Google+

Google+ has a cleaner and minimalistic UI compared to Facebook. After seeing Google+, the first thing came to my mind is Facebook is a mess. I know it’s harsh, I look to Facebook like it is the next friendster
It has a better gallery. I like the mosaic view of the gallery and it has a better preview of pictures. You can also see the details of the picture including the camera that was used, ISO, aperture and many more
I like the notifications of Google+. It is easier to manage the notifications of Google+
Circles let me manage and view my friend’s post easier.
Haven’t tried hangouts but they said it is really coooooool

All in all I really like the Google+ but it still needs more improvement. They still need to catch up with acebook which has a gazillion of users.

Thor 1 Poster

Thor was one of the Marvel superhero movies that was released this year. I didn’t watch this in the cinemas but I have seen it in the bus (yeah pirated, thanks ceres). I enjoy watching it and I believe that the movie was successful because it grossed $437 million worldwide. Chris Hemworth is expected to return in this movie. Natalie Portman is not yet sure and the director will not return anymore. Thor 2 is confirmed for July 26 2013. That means, it’ll be 2 years from now

My mom loves Eat Bulaga so much. She was even surprised when I texted that Vic Sotto will endorse the Dual sim Phones of Nokia. I was surprised when I turned on the TV and saw that it is Nokia Day on Eat Bulaga. From the opening number till the show ends, Nokia was emphasized so much during the show. They even use the “Nokia Helicopter” and the prizes that were given are the Nokia Dual sim phones which bossing endorses.

Nokia X7 presents Transformers 3: Dark of the moon

A few days ago, I reviewed the Music-minded Nokia X7 and before I reviewed the Nokia X7 that night, Nokia Philippines gave us a ticket (for free!, thank you Nokia Philippines and Fuentes Manila!) and a free food. So we have to choose one, whether we want Wendy’s or Mrs. Fields. And I choose Mrs. Fields, awesome sandwich they got there. Anway back to the review (Warning: Spoilers)

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon in 3D Review

First of all, I want to say to you guys that I’m not a great movie reviewer hehe. I’m a huge fan of the Transformers movie series, I watched the first Transformers many times (and I still forgot their names). Anyway, a lot of people said that Transformers 2 was the worst movie in the series and I agree with that. IMO, Transformers 1 is still the best followed by Transformers 3 and then Transformers 2.

The first thing that I notice is that Megan Fox, The hottie chic from Transformers 1 & 2 is now gone. I was pretty disappointed when I heard this news a few months ago but when I watched Transformers 3, those disappointments were gone because Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was waaay hotter and cooler than Megan Fox.

Michael Bay never fails us when it comes to special effects. Transformers 3 is the first to feature 3D in the series. The effects were awesome and robot smashing-and-bashing fight scenes were one of the best I’ve seen so far especially in the Chicago fight scene of Optimus Prime. Nokia Phones also played a cameo role in the movie.

Another thing that I love here is they showed how Chicago was flattened by the Decepticons. If you have been to Chicago, you’ll have the strange feeling for sure.The story of Transformers 3 is a bit dumb but you’ll enjoy those 3D goodness of it. The special effects and comedy are the things that I like in here. Former Agent Simmons (John Turturro) is still great when it comes to comedy.

Transformers 3: Dark of the moon packs a great fighting and special effects but I didn’t like the story. Antway, I’ll suggest that you watch this movie, It is goooood 🙂
