Euroo sells a lot of accessories including this one, the Euroo gaming keyboard. It’s very affordable and it is currently available at some stores. It features a simple design and with colored keys (The WASD and the arrow keys are color red). Unfortunately, there are no special or added keys on the keyboard but hey!, Euroo still called this as a gaming keyboard.
Before we got down to the keyboard, let’s check out what’s inside the keyboard.

Yes folks, the keyboard will be spill proof and it will also have almost the similar design that you get with the other keyboards but this one will be spill proof. The keys springs well, no problems at all. I frowned when I discover that there are no special keys or additional keys for gaming but they added red color on the on the WASD and arrow keys. Those keys were mostly used on games especially in RPG or FPS games.
Yep, that’s the keyboard folks
As you can see. The color is red. Nothing special about that. Just the color
An USB interface.
Those keys are red not orange. Damn camera.
Here you go!, That’s the packaging folks
If you want to get a hands-on with it, play with it and of course, if you want to buy it then you might want to check out Euroo’s authorized dealers around the metro. This baby will just cost you a P399.00 at those stores. (Yep, that’s the SRP of the keyboard). I suggest that you also like their Facebook page.
Yes folks!, Instagram for Android is now available!. The hipster’s tool for sharing photos from the iOS finally arrived the Google Play store. It was exclusive on the iOS for a very very long time but starting tonight, you can now download it for free! According to @mparaz, this app won’t work on QVGA devices (Sorry, Galaxy Y Users). I downloaded this app on my Original Galaxy Tab (Yes, the first Galaxy Tab from Samsung) and it works well and it looks great!. Check out my first Instagram post from Instagram App for Android. Check it out at Google Play. Oh and BTW, Be sure that your phone is powered by Android 2.2
Who doesn’t love Anime? Whether you like it or not, you’ll still have an Eyegasm on this Evangelion Anime inspired phone from Sharp — The Sharp SH-06D NERV. Admit it guys, this must be the one of the best phone that we’ve seen so far (Well I don’t know if the non-techie guys would like it). As you can see, Sharp made a heavy customization on the UI of the phone. It is equipped with Android 2.3, yeah I know, kinda disappointing to see that the ICS is missing. The one who is responsible for powering this device is a 1.2 GHz processor along with the 512mb of RAM. Some of you might feel that this phone is too big for you because it will sport a 4.5″ 3D MAGI display with an HD resolution. Unfortunately, this will be only available at Japan and it will be available on limited quantities. Better reserve a plane ticket guys.
Americans, They are always the first one to get their hands-on of the every new Apple products. Always. Unfortunately, we are not Americans and we aren’t even on the first countries to get the new iPad. The new iPad is expected to be release here in the Philippines this April but if you are REALLY REALLY excited to touch and lick one, then you might want to visit Widget City’s website. Why? Because they’re selling those tablets like pancakes. According to their website, the new iPad or I shall call it as the iPad ’12 will start at P25,800. That’s the iPad 2012 16gb Wifi only variant. By the way folks, This new iPad is already equipped with the latest A5X processor, a better 5 megapixel camera and of course, the retina display. Anyway just visit the link here if you want to buy one.
So guys. Stop asking. You already know where to buy one.
I can almost feel the presence of the Nokia Lumia phones here in the Philippines. Yes folks, because Smart has just listed one of the most affordable Windows phone — The Nokia Lumia 610. It will be one of the first phones to have the Tango update from Microsoft. Tango was aimed to target low-end and affordable devices. The Lumia 610 delivers much of the features of the Windows Phone 7 but there will be some limitations because of the downgraded hardware like the 256mb RAM and 800 MHz processor. Even though the processor was downgraded, the fluidity and smoothness of the OS was still retained.
Nokia Lumia 610 Specifications 119 x 62 x 12 mm, 131.5 g 800 Mhz processor 3.7″ 800×480 LCD display 8 GB memory 256mb RAM 5 Megapixel Camera w/ HD@30fps recording HSDPA Wi-Fi Bluetooth Nokia apps Windows Phone 7.5
Rejoice fellow gamers! Sony is about to announce the next iteration of the Playstation in a few months (or maybe a year!) and it will be called as Playstation Orbis. According to Kotaku, it is expected to be release next year, 2013 for the holidays. I wasn’t surprised that they called it as Orbis since the latest Playstation was called as Playstation Vita not Playstation Portable 2. In Latin, Orbis means Ring or circle. I guess there will be some integration with the Playstation Vita and some other devices that’s why they called it as Orbis.
Anyway, new console means new hardware. According to their trusted sources, it will have an AMD X64 CPU and the latest AMD Southern Islands GPU (Those are the latest Graphics from AMD). Those hardware will be capable of displaying a resolution up to 4096×2160. No joke folks, that’s way bigger than your iPad 3 or your HDTV. I guess, Sony wants manufacturers to create a Retina TV too LOL. Backwards compatibility? Sorry folks, your favorite PS3 games won’t work on the new Playstation, just like what they did on the PS3. Oh and you CAN’T, I repeat, you CAN’T play used games because according to them, you’ll need to connect your PSN account to the game before you can start it. I wonder, how the hell can we sell our used games. These are just rumors and we’re not sure if those things will be really on the new Playstation. Well, There are still room for changes.
Here’s a good headphone that can satisfy your hunger for bass and style, the Audio-Technica WS-55. This headphone features a midrange price but can offer a good sound quality. Aside from that, the Audio-Technica WS-55 is very stylish which I think will be attractive to the youth. Of course, we didn’t expect that this headphone will be better than the we previously reviewed, the Audio-Technica ATH-PRO700MK2. We used the cans for almost 2 weeks on different devices and yes, It reached most of my expectations.
Before we get down to the review, here’s the specifications of the Audio-Technica WS-55 headphone:
Just as we expect, the headphones will be light and portable. The one that we reviewed is the red Audio-Technica WS-55 headphones. I like how the Audio-Technica made this headphone. The cans are protected by a aluminum and along with that is the elegantly etched Audio-Technica Logo on it. It is one of the most stylish headphones I’ve seen and IMO it is way better than the Beats Solo. The headphones can be also folded for easy store but unfortunately, you can’t fold the headbands but it can be easily slide to fit in your head. The slider is made up of aluminum too so don’t worry about the durability of the headband. At the top of the headband is a cushion, very comfortable and not it didn’t cause me any irritation.
Yes the headphones can be folded for easy store and carry
The earpads!
The earpads are very comfortable, got no problems at all about it. Well, there aren’t any special designs on the earpads, just a simple and a very comfortable earpads.
Yep, It’s chrome-y and looks nice
Yeah! slide it baby!
Well, the cord? No problemo bro! It’s 1.2m long Y-type cord (Not bad). The only thing that I hate with Y-type cords is that they always tangled with my lanyard. No other issues aside from that. The cord is very durable and thick so I don’t thick that the cord will be torn down easily by some objects. The cable isn’t detachable but that isn’t an issue for me since this headphones are made for consumer not for some heavy audio-mixing whatsoever and some other kind of jobs that is similar to that. At the end is a L-Type 3.5mm Gold-plated plug. I’ve got no issues with that except that
The cables. No they’re not detachable my friends
The L-type plug
The headphones features a solid bass system with new double air chamber, it helps the headphone to produce a richer and deeper bass. Oh and We’ll discuss the performance of the headphones later. All in all, the headphone is light and portable and yet it is still solid and comfortable.

The Audio-Technica ATH-WS55 clad in Aluminum
We tested this headphones on different songs and movies. It turns out that the 40mm drivers did well on our test. We tried this for 2 weeks and we used it almost everyday for an hour or so. Just like what I’ve told you earlier, it features a double air chamber system that helps the headphone improves its bass. We played some songs and I noticed that the bass were good but not excellent. Like what I’ve said earlier, I’ve tried this headphone with different songs, and here’s my take about the performance of the headphones on some songs.
Lose Control – Jojo ft. Timbaland
The bass on the song were good, I can clearly hear all the minor details on the song. There are some things that you would hear on the headphones clearly but not on the other headsets or headphones. It is great but not that excellent.
Half of my heart – John Mayer ft. Taylor Swift
Here’s a song that probably most of you love especially when you’re in love. Yes, folks. I’m a big fan of Johnny. Anyway, This song from John Mayer is one of my favorites and the Audio-Technica ATH-WS55 didn’t fail to impress me. The acoustics were smooth and clear. You can clearly hear the song. And yes, the quality was great.
That’s Audio-technica baby!
Verdict All in all, the Audio-Technica ATH-WS55 did well on our test. For more than 2 weeks of testing this headphones, I can say that the performance and the quality was great. I got a deep and punchy bass from its cans when playing some hip-hop or RnB songs and the blues and soft songs were great too. The design and the style of the headphones were great (And yes folks, I prefer the design of this one over the over-rated Beats Solo). For those who are interested on grabbing one, It is now available and it has a SRP of P3,799.00. You can check it out at some Authorized dealers listed here
Disclosure: The Audio-Technica ATH-WS55 was lend to us by Philippe Gadgets. The official distributor of Audio-Technica products in the Philippines. Thanks guys!
Do you want a Nokia Lumia but can’t afford the Nokia Lumia 800? Here’s the Nokia Lumia 710, It will be offered by Smart starting from this day. As of this posting, Smart haven’t posted the pricing plans for the Lumia 800’s little brother. FYI guys, the Nokia Lumia 710 sports a 3.7″ LCD, 1.4 Ghz processor, 5 megapixel camera and Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. My prediction is that the phone will land at the Plan 1499 or below. Well, I hope that the Lumias will be affordable in the Philippines. Oh and these pre-orders give us the clue that Lumias will be launch here in the Philippines very very very soon. If you want to pre-order the Lumia 800, check it out here. But if you want the Nokia Lumia 710 from Smart, just wait for the pre-order page here
Yes folks, you can now pre-order the first Nokia Windows phone from Globe. If you can still remember, We reviewed the Nokia Lumia 800 a few months ago. We had an awesome time of using it but unfortunately, we had to return it from Nokia UK. Just a short recap of the specs, the Nokia Lumia 800 is powered by a single core 1.4 ghz processor, it has a 3.7″ curved glass Clearblack AMOLED, 8 megapixel camera and the OS inside is Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Anyway, you can get it for P1,499 a month bundled with Unli surf Plan 999 so all in all, that’ll be free on Plan 2499. If you want to get the first dibs on the Nokia Lumia 800 in the Philippines, check out their pre-order page here
Tablets and phone are very essential tools in work and in school these days and most touch screen devices use capacitive touch screens. Capacitive touch screens doesn’t recognize most materials compared to resistive touch screens which was use in most touch screen devices back then, it can recognize almost anything which leads to accidental touch of buttons. Like I said earlier, the capacitive doesn’t recognize most materials instead it only recognize our fingers. For some, it will be harder especially those who wear gloves so it is recommended to use a stylus. Fortunately, Euroo got a pen and stylus in one product, Yes that’s Euroo Stylus pen. Let’s check it out.
Design
Personally, I like the design of the Euroo Pen and stylus. The body is made up of aluminum which makes the pen solid and a bit heavy. Yeah, it’s heavy compared to other pens but after an hour of using it, I already got use to it. The design looks professional too and I really love it!. I prefer using this pen rather than using my good ol’ trusty Pilot G-Tech. At the top of the pen is the soft touch rubbery-like texture stylus while at the bottom is the tip of the pen. To release the tip of the pen, you’ll need to twist the bottom part of ballpen. To refill and remove the bottom part of the pen, you just need to twist it too and ta-dah! you can now refill your pen.
Usability
I have no problems and I feel comfortable whenever I write using this pen. It isn’t a gel pen but the ink of the pen isn’t bad either. Oh and if you are out of ink, you can refill it. Like I said earlier, the pen looks premium and professional. I prefer to hang my pen in my uniform this way:
That’s the pen stylus on my uniform
The stylus at the top
The stylus? Well I didn’t like it that much but of course, the capacitive screen can recognize it well. The stylus has a rubber-like texture and It was quite good because it is easier to navigate on the devices when it is uneven. The thing that I don’t like about this stylus is that it is very soft, you can even press it like a button. Because of that, it is very hard to draw or write something on the device that you’re using.
Here’s the pen with the white iPad 2
Yep, you can refill the pen
I’m right handed. Not left. Just trying it out haha
The packaging of the Euroo Pen Stylus
Verdict
I really like the design of the pen. The look and feel of the pen was professional and premium. Businessman and professionals might love the design of this pen. In case you’re out of ink, you can easily refill it which is quite easy. The stylus isn’t recommended for drawing stuffs on the iPad because of the very soft rubber-like texture stylus but it is still usable on the iPads, iPhones or any devices that uses capacitive touch screen. If you want to get one, you can get it at a reasonable price of P449.00. Not bad at all, quite reasonable for a stylus pen like that.
Obama says not bad
