Infinix Note 10 Pro Review

Infinix smartphones are getting traction lately as the smartphone offers powerful and interesting hardware inside at a very attractive price. This combination makes their smartphone really interesting for Filipino consumers. But what do I think about the smartphone? Check it out in our review of the smartphone below:

Infinix Note 10 Pro Review: Design and hardware

The Infinix Note 10 Pro is one of the best-looking devices from the company. It might have a similar look to the Infinix Note 10 but this one comes with a glossy black with a half-slice design. Honestly, I find the design really enticing and sleek but the glossy back does attract a lot of fingerprints on the smartphone.

The smartphone is noticeably big just like its brothers but it does have an advantage when it comes to playing games and of course when watching videos on YouTube and Netflix. As for the ergonomics, some people might find the size of the smartphone a little bit too big for their hands but for me, it’s just perfect for my hand especially since I love gaming.

As for the fingerprint scanner, it is housed at the power button of the smartphone so it is easy to access and unlock the smartphone and as for the USB-C port, it is located below the smartphone along with the headphone jack of the Infinix Note 10 Pro.

For the battery of the smartphone, there’s a 5000mAh battery inside and I was pretty happy with the results that I got since I was able to use the smartphone for almost a day before running out of battery. Another plus for this one is the included 33W charger on the smartphone which can charge the smartphone faster than most smartphones. In our PC Mark Work 2.0 Battery test, we got a score of 11 hours and 26 minutes.

Infinix Note 10 Pro Review: Display

One of the biggest selling points of the smartphone is its display and the Infinix Note 10 Pro doesn’t disappoint when it comes to that as we got here a 6.95-inch Full HD+ IPS Display with a 90hz refresh rate. It might not be a Super AMOLED panel but the smartphone’s IPS panel would be enough for the smooth navigation on the smartphone.

But like most smartphones, the 90Hz refresh rate of the IPS display of the smartphone isn’t capable of handling 90fps when playing games but the display is very usable when I’m using outside and under direct sunlight. The colors are fine and it’s sharper than the other Infinix Note 10 smartphones with an HD panel.

Infinix Note 10 Pro Review: Software and performance

When it comes to software, the smartphone runs on XOS 7.6 that is based on Android 11, and just like before, we experienced a heavy skin on this one and there are annoying ads on the smartphone but nonetheless, it was speedy and responsive and the 90Hz refresh rate does add the smoothness on the smartphone.

As for the performance, the Infinix Note 10 Pro comes with Helio G90T processor and it also comes with 8GB RAM. As expected, the processor is really powerful for a mid-range smartphone and the Infinix Note 10 Pro is a perfect gaming smartphone for its budget.

We tried different games on the smartphone including Call of Duty Mobile and it was flawless on the smartphone. We also tried playing Genshin Impact on the smartphone and boy, it was fun as the smartphone is really playable even at heavy scenes. The Helio G90T is something that I really appreciate on the smartphone.

Infinix Note 10 Pro Review: Camera

The camera of the smartphone is one of its highlights as it features a 64MP main camera along with 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and also a 2MP B&W sensor and also a 2MP depth sensor. For the selfie camera, there’s the 16MP selfie camera on the smartphone.

The camera app is heavily skinned but it does come with a lot of features as it comes with AI Scene detection that helps in optimizing the smartphone’s images. Most of the shots that I took had good details in well-lit conditions but as expected, the wide-angle’s quality is far from the one that we took on the main camera of the smartphone.

Some shots that we took lacks a few colors and with the selfie camera? Well, they aren’t the best ones but it will do just fine.

Infinix Note 10 Pro Review: Verdict

The Infinix Note 10 Pro is my favorite smartphone from the brand. First, we got here a stylish design on the smartphone and then there’s the powerful chipset inside which is more than enougn for gaming. The large display of the smartphone is perfect for watching videos and of course, for gaming too.

The camera might not be perfect but the smartphone can do its job pretty well on both the rear and the selfie cameras of the smartphone. The Infinix Note 10 Pro is my most favorite smartphone from the company ;). The smartphone is now available for Php9,990.
