CES is here and Dell has started its CES 2020 with a bang by announcing the “Concept UFO” portable gaming PC. Yep, it’s a handheld PC that can play the games that you want as this one has a body of the Nintendo Switch but this one runs Windows 10 and this one can run modern games on your PC.
We’re always pushing what’s possible in the realm of gaming. Introducing our newest gaming innovation, #ConceptUFO. Watch the official unveiling on Jan. 7 at 10 a.m. PST. #CES2020 https://t.co/lNV4TM1eXe pic.twitter.com/6TwCI9nfc1

The Concept UFO comes with the main unit and also the removable controllers just like the Nintendo Switch. There’s an 8-inch display with a 1200p resolution which is bigger than the Nintendo Switch and then there’s the removable controller in where you can snap it into a single controller for playing on the head unit while on a stand or on a connected monitor.

The Alienware Concept UFO weighs under two pounds which is still 3x heavier than the Nintendo Switch and it does have a hexagonal edge that looks Alienware-ish. The unit is still a prototype and the software and hardware of the device isn’t finished yet but it’s clear that the Concept UFO will run Windows 10 and it will be able to run applications like Steam and other games without a problem since this one is Windows 10, the same operating system on your laptop or PC.
Some of the games that were demoed are Rocket League, F1 2019, and Mortal Kombat 11. In case you’re worried about playing games on a controller, keyboard and mouse would work just fine on the device because again, this one runs on a regular Windows 10 OS.
The Alienware Concept UFO is still at the early stages. There’s no date, price, and final hardware for the device but we’re excited that we’re seeing portable devices like this in the market.
