The time has finally come for Valve to introduce and explore the Dota lore outside the Dota 2 game. What a better way to reward the fans of the largest Esports prize pool than with an animated TV series on Netflix. Dota Dragon’s Blood will premiere on Netflix on March 25, 2021
PLOT
Following encounters with a powerful, ancient eldwurm as well as the noble Princess Mirana on a secret mission of her own, Davion, a renowned Dragon Knight, becomes embroiled in events much larger than he could have ever imagined.
Building up to the March 25, 2021 series premiere, Dota Dragon’s Blood will have a Teaser Trailer on February 19, 2021, followed by the main trailer on March 2, 2021. Dota Dragon’s Blood is produced by Ashley Edward Miller, known for his works in X-Men: First Class, Thor, and Black Sails. The 8-episode anime series is animated by Studio MIR, the same studio responsible for The Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender.
