Gigabyte released the G24F Gaming Monitor in the market last April 2021 with a 165hz and 1080p resolution. When it comes to buying a gaming monitor, we normally consider the display size, resolution, and refresh rate of the monitor. These are the main factors to consider when getting one and you already get a lot of choices in the market.
With Gigabyte’s latest gaming monitor lineup targeted to casual gamers that don’t need RGB and the latest gaming features making them very affordable and provide the same gaming experience.

The G24F Gaming Monitor comes in a 1080p (FHD) resolution all packaged into its IPS panel and flicker-free backlight. This is a marvelous platform for competitive gamers that want an affordable screen with splendid contrast and colours.
Design and Features
The G24 gaming monitor looks much like its Aorus counterparts but has a flat-screen instead making it more suitable for competitive gaming. The build is a nice and simple matte black finish making it appear like a regular monitor.
The build quality is as it should be on the Gigabyte G24 gaming monitor even though it is made of plastic making it more than just a budget monitor. It has a steady stand that doesn’t stagger. The hinge though would feel like the weakest link but holds the screen up just fine.
At the rear, we find the single OSD joystick that is conveniently placed on the right-hand side facing the display. It may feel frail but is responsive and only takes a few clicks to get to any sub-menu. This also functions as the monitor’s power button.
G24F Gaming Monitor Movement
The stand included with the Gigabyte G24F gaming monitor offers tilt and swivel for adjustments and may feel limiting for unusual setups. Nevertheless, it should suffice for most cases especially when you use a VESA mount when trying to save space.
Connectivity
In terms of connectivity, the Gigabyte G24F gaming monitor definitely did not disappoint offering a DisplayPort 1.2 and two HDMI 1.4 slots, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and 2 USB 3.0 ports. Included as well is a USB Upstream port.
Display and Performance
The G24F gaming monitor is a 24-inch IPS panel with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms boosted response time.
It displayed awesome vibrancy giving a 100% sRGB and 88% DCI-P3 gamut coverage based on our SpyderXPro analysis. It did not need much calibration out of the box except for a few tweaks on the gamma being slightly off.
Final thoughts on the Gigabyte G24F Gaming Monitor
The G24F gaming monitor is a superb choice when it comes to budget monitors giving its screen’s specifications and effective features. The IPS panel giving that colour accuracy means that entertainment and multimedia would be enjoyed as well. The only thing that was missing is the speakers.
This monitor retails for ₱11,500 and would be a great purchase for those looking for budget monitors both for gaming and multimedia designers.
Hi! Great review and testing of the specs. Just wondering what is the panel id of that you got for this monitor? Because I got a GBT2402, but I’ve read somewhere it should be Innolux. Would appreciate a lot if you could help. Thank you!
