Our favorite twitter leaker @evleaks has leaked the next iteration of the next flagship of HTC, the HTC One 2014. The name isn’t final yet and we hopefully, we won’t see this smartphone to be named as the HTC One 2 or whatever. Unlike the previous HTC One, this one would have a more rounded curves but it will still sport a very similar design to the previous generation. Another new new noticeable features of the HTC One 2014 are the gold variant, dual camera, dual LED flash and the on-screen buttons.
I’m not sure why they have 2 cameras on the rear. I guess it won’t be use for 3D, instead, the HTC One 2014 would feature a ground breaking feature for camera. And the Dual LED flash? Notice the amber color? Yeah, just like the iPhone 5s.
I wish they didn’t made the phone more curvy and they just retain their old design. I still prefer that design the this one. Hopefully, we can get more information from our trusted leakers. The HTC One 2014 is expected to be release on March 25. Yep, not on MWC 2014 at Barcelona.
Sony must be extremely happy right now because they just sold 5.3 million Playstation 4 worldwide. You must remember that they haven’t released the Playstation 4 in Japan, their home turf. Sony just surpassed their target of selling 5 million consoles which was predicted to be moved by the end of the fiscal year. Don’t worry about the Xbox One because when the Titanfall starts shipping, it would probably increase the market share of Xbox One.
Cherry Mobile will be releasing a new phone that’ll pack a 4000mAh battery and it seems that they’ll name it as the Cherry Mobile Fuze. It was earlier leaked by our friend, Cherry Angel who happens to be a retailer of Cherry Mobile phones. According to Cherry Angel, the Cherry Mobile Fuze will rock a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MTK6582 processor which will probably pack a Mali-400 GPU which will be great for gaming. Unfortunately, the display won’t rock an HD display, instead, it will have a FWVGA display. Check out the full specs and its affordable price after the break
Cherry Mobile Fuze Specifications Quad-core 1.3GHz MTK 6582 processor 5″ FWVGA capacitive touchscreen 4GB Internal Storage expandable micro SD up to 32GB 1GB RAM 8MP Rear camera 1.3MP Front cam HSPA+ dual sim/dual standby 4000mAh battery USB OTG Android 4.2
The price of the Cherry Mobile Fuze will be PHP5,499. I know, it will have the same SRP of the Cherry Mobile Flare HD.
Samsung is having their Great Samsung Sale in where you can get discounts up to P3,500 and some freebies like Powerbanks, flip covers, Galaxy Data Sim card and even phones but there’s something that catches my eye, it’s the Samsung Galaxy NotePro 12.2 Wi-Fi. It’s not yet available and the price was a mystery before but it seems that Samsung has finally unveiled its SRP. If you can still remember, the Samsung Galaxy NotePro 12.2 is one of the largest Android tablet in Samsung’s Galaxy family. Well, the price is quite steep for a tablet but c’mon, you’re looking at a tablet with a large screen with a very high resolution with built-in office solutions. Anyway, the Great Samsung Sale will be starting tomorrow up to March 23 2014 only, so why don’t you get your own Samsung device now!
LG is ready to take on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with their new phablet, the LG G Pro 2. The LG G Pro 2 still sports a design which is similar to the LG G2 but this one packs a larger 5.9″ display which is much larger than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This phablet also supports 4k video recording unlike its little brother and this one sports a bigger 3 GB RAM compared to the 2 GB RAM of the LG G2. There’s a new feature too that allows you to unlock the phone by tapping on the screen based on a specific cadence made by the user. LG G Pro 2 Specifications
Apple has a really bad record in keeping leaks and secretive stuff. The next iteration of iPhone shells was leaked by a Twitter user and it looks like the next generation of iPhones would be thinner but with a larger display. The design of this apparent iPhone 6 somehow reminds me of the LG G2. The rear of the phone seems to be made up of metal and it looks similar to the iPads. Well, we can’t say if this leaked pictures are real but hey, it looks damn beautiful.
Look guys, when it comes to laptop I always prefer Macbooks but if when it comes to Windows laptops, I always wanted a Razer laptop. Why? because they define how a gaming laptop should look like and work. So what’s up with the Razer Blade? Unlike other gaming laptops, the Razer Blade has a specifications that is ready for gaming but it still retains a thin and lightweight design. It’s not really common on gaming laptops since most of the gaming laptops that we’ve seen are mostly thick and heavy. Another thing that I love about the Razer Blade is the simple yet elegant design. Actually, it looks like a Macbook with added green hues and more gamer-centric design.
The Razer Blade is now available at Widget City starting at P96,990 for the 14″ with 256 GB SSD while the 17″ starts at P119,990. It might be expensive but c’mon guys, this is a gaming laptop, not an ultrabook. Most Razer Blade reviews said that it last longer than you think. It can even reach up to 6 hours of battery life.
This is not a hoax and it seems that the creator of Flappy Bird will take down our most favorite game on our smartphones and tablets. Yes, we’ll never throw or smash our devices again just because of this game. Dong Nguyen, the Vietnamese creator of this game, tweeted that he will take down Flappy Bird just because he can’t take it anymore. There are no legal issues and he is not selling the game. It’s just that he can’t take it anymore. Well, we only have a few hours before he took down Flappy Bird so why don’t we enjoy and savor the last hours of our favorite game on our smartphones and tablets. For those people who downloaded the game already, don’t worry, it would still work even without Flappy Bird on the App Store and the Play store.
Before, affordable Android devices didn’t performed that well and most of those devices can’t play some games but today, being an affordable device doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have the power to run demanding apps and games. I’ve been using this device for weeks now and I can say that the Cherry Mobile Life is one of those devices that perform really well despite having an affordable price. Why don’t you check out my review after the break?
The Cherry Mobile feels like any other affordable android phones around. The build quality of Cherry Mobile phones have improve over the years and I believe that the Cherry Mobile Life is quite solid for its price but this phone definitely doesn’t have the same build quality of its bigger and meaner Android smartphone brothers. The design of this phone is very simple and common but that makes the phone feel less flawed and solid.
The curvy back of the Cherry Mobile Life is very noticeable and thanks to the large power buttons and the very curvy back, the Cherry Mobile Life feels very comfortable to hold and use. The Cherry Mobile Life feels solid and there’s no hollow feeling at the back despite having a plastic build. The one that I got is the white one and the back looks like it is made up of pearl. The dimensions of the phone feels just right and the weight of the phone is not that heavy too.
The display size is just right for its price. 4” might be too small for many and playing games on the phone isn’t really ideal especially if that’s a game like Grand Theft Auto. Nonetheless, the WVGA display looks good and the colors were just right. The bezels wasn’t thick nor thin, holding the phone feels just right. The viewing angles were good too. However, the sunlight legibility didn’t fared well.
Inside the Cherry Mobile Life is a dual-core MTK6582 processor with a 512 MB RAM. Despite having a Dual-core processor, the smartphone performs really well although I experienced some lags and slowdowns sometimes. The 512 MB RAM is quite small for some but remember, this phone is priced below P4,000 so don’t expect too much from it. There’s a 4GB Internal storage too so
The battery is only rated at 1500mAh but it performed above my expectations, the Cherry Mobile Life was able to rake in a day of average use. Mostly use for calling and texting and a little bit of browsing and gaming. If you love playing games and you always turn on your 3G all the time, I doubt that the phone would last half a day. Better get a Powerbank or always bring your charger if you’re that type of person. The sound quality of the Cherry Mobile Life was already acceptable. Not the greatest that I’ve heard on a smartphone but it isn’t bad for its price.
The Cherry Mobile is running on Android 4.2.2 . It isn’t the latest version but if you’re the type of person who just want to play casual games, text and call then you probably won’t care about the latest update of Android. There are not that much apps that are pre-installed on the phone which is quite good. I strongly suggest that you put your media files on the MicroSD card because the 4 GB internal storage with only a few left for consumption. You can root the phone to maximize it more but remember, THAT WOULD VOID THE WARRANTY OF THE PHONE.
There’s a 512 MB RAM and a Dual-Core MTK6582 processor inside which was really amazing. And no, don’t get me wrong here guys. The performance wasn’t able to beat the MTK6592 which is the current quad-core offering of Mediatek which can be found on most local branded smartphones of 2013. On games, I was shocked that it performed really well. On Real Boxing, the Cherry Mobile Life was ab;e to play it smoothly however, there were some lags and slowdowns on transitions on menu. I still have no idea why that happened.
When playing games, the phone didn’t really had a heat issue. Yes, the phone was getting warmer but it didn’t get to the point in where the phone was really hot. Just like what I’ve said, the processor inside it perform really well and I wasn’t surprised that the Cherry Mobile Life got an Antutu score of 10847.
The camera of the Cherry Mobile Life didn’t fared well on my review. The camera of the Cherry Mobile Life was able to shot images fast but the 5 Megapixel shooter produces a lot of noise and the colors of the images that I took wasn’t really that accurate. Overall, the camera of the phone wasn’t that good. Why don’t you judge the photos for yourselves?
The Cherry Mobile Life isn’t really the best smartphone that you could get in the market but the price of the phone is really attractive and affordable. If you are near this price range or below P4,000, this is one of the best phones that you could have. But if you have more than that, you opt for a Cherry Mobile Flare 2x or Flare S which are better.
It’s time to say goodbye to the Sony VAIO PC line because Sony has decided to sell off their computer division to Japan Industrial partners which means that Sony will cease all planning, design and development of PC products. They’re planning on focusing on mobile devices and they blamed the “Drastic changes in the global PC industry”. I think Sony wants to ramp up their smartphone and tablet line by selling off their PC business which is getting weak and just focus on their mobile devices. I’m not really sure about the fate of their current VAIO laptops but I think it will still be supported by Sony. I’m pretty sure that Microsoft isn’t happy with this news.
